The second phase of today’s sunrise was super pretty.

It’s like in a story
A fairy tale
While evil reigns
Can good prevail
We watch and hope
On the edge of our seat
Wanting to know
We can defeat
The darkness coming
Across the land
While trying our best
To understand
What happens next
We just don’t know
We’re told to wing it
Just go with the flow
But now the flow
Is just too weird
It makes no sense
And is being steered
Into the abyss

It was a beautiful and brief sunrise this morning so will be in two parts. Quite the contrast of colours starting with dark blue.

I think spacey skies are now my thing 🙂 Relaxing to do (apart from the stressful bits where you think you have messed it up), and they are nice on the eyes after. I still can’t decide if I like the blues ones or green one more…

She has two faces really, happy and serious. I suspect its because shes is seriously thinking about food 🤣

A nice bit of colour on a dreary day.

This is one of my early acrylic attempts mountains. It didnt turn out exactly how I wanted it to but I really like it and find it calming. I did it in a panel on canvas but may try it again on it’s own.

Sometimes it is
An absolute must
That in yourself
You need to trust
Just what it is
You think and feel
To know illusion
From what is real
Sometimes that
Which is in hand
Can take a while
To understand
And really know
What has occurred
We’re only told
Through tainted word
So thought it can
Assist us through
To try and discover
The false from true

Volume 1 (2018) – available below, volume 2 underway…
I don’t know what type of spider this is, only that it was in the garden in early September. I can’t wait for spring to begin and some colour and life to return.

A lovely pink December sunrise.
