An older version slightly of ‘computer says no’, where it was used for comedy effect here and there and for a mocking attitude to go with it.
“If your name’s not down, you’re not coming in” was how the saying went as I remember, to denote that you are excluded, not on the list, not part of it. With it always being shown as a glitzy club or event, where only the ‘elite’ were allowed and everyone else just got to watch and want to be part of it. Well, not everyone, but it was meant to make you want to be part of it.
With that updated bit of ‘computer says no’, well, that really does seem like a foreshadowing now. Or perhaps that was part of the prep, to get us used to the idea that a computer will be the ultimate decider for you, with an automated person to push the buttons. And to get us to laugh at it, almost to soften the blow later on when it starts moving in, our memories and training towards it make us vaguely acknowledge it, but humour distracts us from its real objective. Make it more palatable, more acceptable and familiar, and then convince you it’s necessary. Despite having warning signs and footage from other countries where they are a bit further along in that digital dream of someone else, and more of a developing nightmare for others.
And here we find ourselves, with another round of ‘for your safety’ used to try and further that digital nightmare they paint as a dream. Everything running smoothly, everyone smiling and happy in their 15-minute towns owning nothing, sharing, caring and… not working clearly. As they seem to have omitted that part of their strange little scheme, what people will actually do. Not that I think working is something we should have to do, but as they say, the devil makes work for idle hands, I do think people need to have a purpose, be busy, and contribute to the bigger picture of humanity and nature. And unfortunately, in these current times, there seems to be a drive to take away much from people. Their time, money, stability, future, employment, status, identity and whatever else they can think of to strip you of while you live, stand and breath.
Many have been warning of Digital ID trying to muscle its way into society, through various methods, back doors and sneaky manoeuvres by the powers that be. To steer mentality where they would like it, so people accept the technological prison that awaits. I have discussed it at length in many articles, mostly covered in Monitoring Compilation, and countless people have tried to flag it up as an impending issue. To freedoms, health and society as a whole. Making people think things need to be more efficient, transparent and traceable, and that the ones who tout it, will be beholden to it. They will not, just as they aren’t beholden to any of the current laws and rules, breaking them and ignoring them on a daily basis, it not hourly. Corruption, thievery and all sorts of degenerate behaviour, all hiding behind suits and pay checks. Although not so much hiding anymore, kind of in plain sight and as if they are so giddy with greed, they don’t even know or care that we see it. Like an dirty pair of pants that is sticking out of your trouser leg while you strut around thinking you are all that, the government are the trousers, and the politicians are the pants.
And like the greedy little thieves that they are, they can’t help being In Your Pocket, helping themselves to what they have deemed themselves entitled to. Always scheming about how to keep that all in place, now with more hands in the cookie jar than it can take, although it seems that magic money tree mentioned in Money Doesn’t Grow on Trees is at their disposal. So, of course, being able to monitor and control your every moment, would need to follow as they have exhausted their previous avenues of tracking your life and taking your time and money. But it doesn’t seem as though it’s just about money, it feel far more intrusive, invasive and involved than that as we can see in society and what we used to call communities. It seems they will do whatever they can to achieve their exact goal, with many speculations on what that might be. But what does seem clear, is that what we were meant to view as calm and stable times on this island, have now reached an end and we are entering a new time…
