A Numbers Game

There is talk. Of population collapses, of a depopulation agenda and it being a race against time to save the planet. As well as to get off and populate and colonise other planetary bodies with human bodies. It’s the only way, they say.

I can’t help but remember things I have thought of over the years when hearing of certain policies and events. That I realised would have a long-term effect on things, and now time has passed, I can see the effect. Even if it isn’t one I considered, I see how things may have played their part in contributing to the issues.

China with their one child policy for a while. India favouring male babies, and possibly not just India, they just weren’t shy about making it known.

Spain, Malta and Italy, England and Wales, South Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan are the lowest birthrates at the moment it is said. But it’s also noted some of the reasons. Of which I have considered and have already covered a few points in my article Leading to a State of Mind.

There have also been movie portrayals and ideas put forward in various formats for their being a decline in fertility or something that almost wipes out humanity, and we are left to survive on a shoestring. See my article They Tell Us.

But to go along with the ideas and societal strategies that have laid the scene, there also follows statistics, charts and projections which have fuelled the conversations around it. Namely the Deagle Chart, which shows the projections for populations around the world in 2025, showing a steep drop in many, leading many to ask what data they are basing that on, and what is the reason for making that public.

And we can speculate all we want, as I have done in articles On The Way Out and Downsizing, but I can help thinking there might be something else. Aside from the known agendas and what we think is going on, something quite extraordinary and different altogether…
