It was an awesome bit of sunset last night. A lucky moment to have looked out of the window.

This was a stunning sunset, like the sky was on fire and it got more lovely as it went, ending in almost lenticular clouds. These pictures are unedited, it is as it was through the Nikon D5500. Think I have some new painting ideas here 🙂

Just taking a moment to enjoy the sunset.

Last night’s sunset was rather pretty, it’s a shame there is no time to walk to get a better position or view, but by the time I notice it, it’s gone within five minutes.

A rather nice sunset photo taken at Haresfield Beacon in Gloucestershire.

We’ve had some beautiful sunsets and sunrises this winter, and some of them I have even managed to catch. A walk in the Gloucestershire countryside.

I could see from my afternoon walk the clouds would be nice at sunset if they hung around. So I got the dog lead back out and walked to the park. I love the winter trees when they look stark against the sky, today was no exception. It gets dark so quickly you have to be quick to catch a good sunset, hopefully there will be more to come.

While picking up the pupper from the vets after surgery we were treated to a rather special sunset, this being one of the pictures. I’m always pleased to get a clear shot when on the move – not driving myself of course, but with the vehicle in motion it’s not that easy to get a clear and stable shot. I usually try and avoid the pylons or wires but this ones seemed to make the photograph for me.
