On the piss. A funny saying here in the UK for when something is on the lean or not in a straight line (not sure if it’s common elsewhere). Also used for going out to get inebriated. On the lash being an interchangeable term for this also, and now and again one might use getting shit faced to explain what your purpose is for a Friday night or weekend. I love language and its uses and meaning!
Yesterday we had a bit of play in the sun with the ball. On the way back she looked as if she would fall over 🤣 action shots are so much fun.

This last summer we have had some lovely days in the garden. Usually meaning ball time, me convincing Maya to drop it, and finally her being over the top catching it.

I love trying to get photographs of my dog, she doesn’t make it easy by any stretch. If I am taking pictures of something else, she gives me space. But when we are playing outside and she becomes the subject, she either looks away, moves, or runs towards me. So just after I throw the ball and just before she reaches me are my moments of opportunity. Here are a few of our recent shots…
