I love patterns and photography, and managed to find a way to mix the two. All of my patterns are from my own macro and nature photography turned into bright and colourful designs. There are over 1200 original designs in my shop and all are available on a range of products. If you want to add a bit of colour to your life, I’ve got you covered 🙂

Choppy skies out walking…

The weather has definitely taken a choppy turn. As autumn turns into winter, a few good skies can still be caught at the right time.

A walk in the park the other day had some very dark clouds, but it made for a really nice contrast against the bright blue strip of clear sky getting smaller by the minute.

We only got a bit wet but it was worth it.

She has a great time running around the park, whatever the weather.

This photograph is one of my favourites, a sunset with great clouds taken at Haresfield Beacon in Gloucestershire. A fantastic beauty spot where I used to walk my dogs and got to see some great skies and views. A few products shown below but is available on many more (link at bottom of post).

Shadows…

Sometimes the light comes through and hits the dog just perfectly. Unfortunately she usually moves as soon as she sees me try to get a picture. But this time I was lucky, I was able to twist round in my chair and get the shot! Not a perfect photograph, but still one that makes me happy.

UK Moths

There have been a few moths in the garden over the summer as well, not always easy to spot so I imagine there may have been many more.

The Poplar Hawk Moth is a previous photograph from out walking and he was just on the pavement! It’s such a super moth, I had to include it and felt lucky to have found it.

Caterpillars in the garden…

This year has been pretty awesome for caterpillars in the garden. Lucky as I haven’t been out much this year (obviously), but no matter, nature came to me.

Partly I think because I seem to have planted well last year. Planning lots of nasturtiums and getting a couple of fruit plants – gooseberry and blueberry.

Although not much on the fruit, they seem to have attracted a new guest. And one I had not seen before. As it was hairy, I know not to touch! I also have captured a number of moths and butterflies this year which will get their own post. Not as many butterflies as last year for variety, but plenty of large and small whites on the nasturtiums.
