Learning to paint #2

I am thoroughly enjoying painting now and kind of wish I had found it years ago, feeling as if I have missed 20 years of something great. But I am making up for it with all evenings and weekends now taken up with painting. There is a lot more to it than I realised.

I keep switching between finding tutorials on YouTube and trying to use my own imagination. Above is imagination and below is tutorial.

At first I also switched between watercolours one weekend and acrylics the next (below). Liking both, but have settled on watercolours for now.

I spent time looking at this painting growing up as it was on the wall at my grandparents. It impressed on me as you would say. So years later when they asked if there were any ornaments or art I would like to have, I picked this one and a few others.

My eyes enjoy this painting very much. It’s done with an airbrush (I think) and the artist tag is Medina. That is all I know.
