Had a good little selection of things to photograph at the weekend in the garden. This little one was on the door frame before I even got outside and I managed to catch him on the run. I have some great shots from Spain and will post more as they are really cute when you get a moment to look at them. (unless spiders really aren’t your thing, then maybe not so cute).

A lovely bit of sunshine in the garden yesterday gave Spring the boost it needed to get settled it.

We had a number of stonechats in Spain which frequented the garden, giving me ample opportunity to get some good shots. But this one stopped near me while I happened to already have my camera in hand and didn’t mind me gradually getting closer and closer. Even singing a bit while I was taking pictures. You can’t help get the feeling sometimes nature enjoys being watched.

I don’t know what type of spider this is, only that it was in the garden in early September. I can’t wait for spring to begin and some colour and life to return.

I planted these in the garden last year and it kept flowering for a while with lots of heads. A really nice and bright addition to the garden.
