For a bit of blue…

It was a beautiful and brief sunrise this morning so will be in two parts. Quite the contrast of colours starting with dark blue.

A nice bit of colour on a dreary day.

Colourful nature designs all taken from my nature photography. Available on over 90 different products, but today I’m going for cushions 🙂 They bring a great bit of colour to a room, are comfy and covers easy to wash. I know as I have bought about 8 so far for myself!

I have only seen this type of beetle once while out walking in Oxfordshire Countryside I think this was a couple summers ago. Luckily I had my phone for a picture.

This was a real treat and I still don’t really know how my husband spotted it.

But there it was, aware of us too and seemingly wanting to start making a getaway.

But i managed to follow him around for a few minutes and see what a strange creature he really, even compared to the other mantises I had seen.

Goes down as one of the most alien creatures I have ever seen.

Another lovely December sunrise. I forget to download the photos from my Nikon sometimes and get a pleasant surprise weeks later when I go back through them.

I miss these little guys when I go back through my pictures. Lizards were everywhere in Spain as well as geckos and other wildlife. This is a Psammodromus lizard, with it’s colourful stripe easy to identify.

Their tails and underbelly turns bright orange when they are in mating season.

They are so cool.
