Another bit if snow covered tree from the weekend.

I loved having this as my view for a year, it never looked the same one day to the next.

It snowed quite heavily here over the weekend and I managed to get in a short walk to enjoy the snow covered trees. This was one of my favourite shots.

Available as a print in case anyone would like a wintery wall.

Or as cards 🙂

Been out for a few snaps of the snow, it’s more than I’ve seen for a while. The trees looked magical ❄

We had a number of stonechats in Spain which frequented the garden, giving me ample opportunity to get some good shots. But this one stopped near me while I happened to already have my camera in hand and didn’t mind me gradually getting closer and closer. Even singing a bit while I was taking pictures. You can’t help get the feeling sometimes nature enjoys being watched.

It was an awesome bit of sunset last night. A lucky moment to have looked out of the window.

Quite an epic arrangement of clouds this morning. I was impressed.

I even got to see a second conehead mantis, quite a bit smaller and different colour to the large purple one.

These are lovely plants. Bright, colourful and tasty. Yes, you can eat them! Apparently they have a peppery flavour, of which I haven’t tasted yet. I prefer to plant and leave them for the caterpillars. Small and Large whites absolutely love them. The butterflies lay their eggs on the underside of the leaves, then steadily munch their way through them when they hatch. It’s really cool to see it all happen 🙂
