This little fella managed to come in on the underside of the dogs outside water bowl. Almost not noticed and washed down the sink he was so small! But I saw him and grabbed a strawberry leaf to help move him back outside to safety.

Starling flock in slow motion
When we first had proper snow in January, I decided to go out in the morning and try and get some slowmo footage of the large snowflakes. As I positioned my phone upwards and hit record, a flock of starlings flew over perfectly in frame! Felt very lucky to capture that, I must admit 🙂
