I feel we’ve reached… (poetry)

I feel we’ve reached a tipping point

And one we can’t dismiss

A rather large and empty void

On the edge of a precipice

~

With every day that passes now

They seem to just push faster

To split us up and take us down

And forcing through disaster

~

But while this train that can’t be steered

Seems somehow out of reach

Maybe there is a lesson here

And one that we can teach

~

For your safety and for your health

Are not to be believed

You cannot save what’s already gone

Just accept we have been deceived

It feels that it… (poetry)

It feels that it

Is getting more tense

As growing numbers

Seem to see sense

While it appears

We still have choice

You really should

Employ your voice

What’s going on

One can’t define

But all I can say

Is hold the line

There are those

Who admit defeat

They now step back

And will retreat

Because there’s more

To this sinister fight

It’s about our futures

And what is right

With propaganda

We’ve been saturated

And through big lies

Manipulated

But to what end?

While we work… (poetry)

While we work

Through all the stress

It may just seem

That it’s hopeless

Cornered in

They try to make

The truth appear

From something fake

Planting seeds

Of what comes next

Then lay the words

And the context

Within your mind

It does then stir

And not long after

Seems to occur

Because you knew

Well in advance

It helped to keep

You in their trance

Waiting to see

When they will give

The people back

A chance to live

But some won’t wait…

More and more… (poetry)

More and more

Seem to admit

That none of this

Is quite legit

People giving

Proper thought

To more than what

They have been taught

To just believe

With stats and word

Which don’t stack up

And are absurd

What’s being said

Versus what we see

Just doesn’t hold up

In reality

While they continue

With this charade

The longer we know

We’re being played

For fools

What they’ve done… (poetry)

What they’ve done

Is pure betrayal

And will now lead

To the biggest fail

While being inept

They did presume

And lacked the presence

To read the room

Because my friends

What’s happened here

Is more than just

Control through fear

They’re being told

Just what to do

To crush the lives

Of me and you

Because if data

And truth did lead

This great debacle

We wouldn’t need

Yet still we continue

The pantomime

But what we’re losing

Is more than time

It is our freedom

There comes a time… (poetry)

There comes a time

When we must face

This has become

A huge disgrace

It’s more than just

A travesty

It now has morphed

To tyranny

Holding to ransom

Our days and years

Changing our thoughts

And filling with fears

Where once before

Were hope and dreams

Now it’s different

And not what it seems

We have been tricked

And led astray

Down a dark path

That only they

Know where it leads…

Within this strange… (poetry)

Within this strange

And blinkered mess

There seems so much

Fear and distress

To hear them say

I know it’s tough

Doesn’t quite cut it

And isn’t enough

Asked to have

Some more patience

Yet what we need

Is to see sense

It’s madness and folly

I won’t deny

With every breath

They can’t help lie

Your life and time

Is what they stole

And now they have

Complete control

Will they just give it up?

Rhyme and Reason

It seems as if… (poetry)

It seems as if

The stage is set

To try and make

Us all forget

What came before

And how it was

Changing facts

And truth because

It doesn’t fit

With what they do

They want us scared

Not knowing what’s true

As we might notice

And really see

Under this regime

We’re no longer free

To live and breath

And hold what’s dear

Instead they want

Us living in fear

Of each other

It’s now a minefield… (poetry)

It’s now a minefield

Of what to believe

Months of lies

Have now achieved

Mass confusion

And split the crowd

Just one narrative

They shout so loud

It’s deafening

To the point of numb

Ignoring all else

They think we’re dumb

But we aren’t

We’ve just been used

To keep us all

Dazed and confused

But now is not

The time to sleep

To blindly follow

Like herded sheep

Use your brain

And apply some thought

To think outside

What you’ve been taught

It may just save us all
