It’s funny when you get a dog, you think at first there are her things and there are your things, then you realise everything sort of becomes her things. It doesn’t help that since the lockdowns started occuring, all her toys and treats have arrived by post, so of course any post that arrives now is cause for extra excitement and she thinks is for her.
My excitement comes from seeing my photography as products (simple things and all that). This one is an Autumn shot from a few years ago of a frosty leaf and one I was keen to see what it looked like in real life on products (I have over 1200 designs and there are 90 products for each, so I know I am never going to get to see them all). But when the soft comfy colourful blanket arrived, it didn’t take long for it to become Maya’s. I now have various cushions, coasters, blankets around my house and about five bags in use! So much brightness and nature definitely keeps me going through the dark cold winter months. A bit of the outside, but inside. Some of the frosty leaf products below and links to them in case anyone else needs some brightness in their life.

This face cheers me up no end every day, so in case anyone needs a cheer up in these dark and strange times, I give you some happy Maya face.

She is a naturally happy dog.

Loves sunshine and playing in the garden.

Running around the park.

And generally just being an adorable little madam.

Happy Maya face.

She’s been such a good dog from the start, but unfortunately toys don’t last very long. This tyre was a firm favourite for weeks until she realised her most favourite thing is to chew. Luckily this hobby of hers is confined to her toys only, but it means she has limited toys and they have to be replaced regularly. Not many toys can stand up to the might of Maya.

The little face got bigger and cuter and never fails to entertain with her silly adorable antics.

Last summer when Maya was small and finding her feet with it all, her favourite (and probably many dogs), was to be out in the sun. She no longer poses like this outside as gets far too excited or just wants to lick the camera. For that reason, this photo will remain one of my favourites.

Although, she has developed a more casual approach in the house now she is older which I am able to photograph. Still just as adorable.

This last summer we have had some lovely days in the garden. Usually meaning ball time, me convincing Maya to drop it, and finally her being over the top catching it.
Here are the results.

The weather has definitely taken a choppy turn. As autumn turns into winter, a few good skies can still be caught at the right time.
A walk in the park the other day had some very dark clouds, but it made for a really nice contrast against the bright blue strip of clear sky getting smaller by the minute.

We only got a bit wet but it was worth it.

She has a great time running around the park, whatever the weather.
