Just passing by.

A new find for me in the garden, a leopard slug just happened to be out in full view well into the morning. So I relocated it and got to appreciate its markings, looking like a fingerprint texture through the spots.

We have bluetits again, caught this one rummaging, and might explain why some of the growing redcurrants looked missing a few! Well, them and the sparrows, quite busy so far this year for birds.

Growing season is well underway, now its just a battle between the plants and the slugs. Although I have taken to updating the sil tray to accommodate more inside on the window sil.

After downloading some of last years photos finally from my camera, amd this years so far, it seems there have been quite a few spiders. So I put them together to show how many different spiders you can get in a small garden.

Growing season has now had a good boost with the warm weather and sunshine. The buds and berries are coming along nicely.

This one dropped onto the ground and needed a bit of help, once put on the geranium was super lively again.

Another treat, after accidently disturbing this little bee while gardening, it crawled onto my hand and warmed up for 10 minutes before setting off. Then popped back a short while later for some rest and pollen from the nearby geranium I thought it might like.
