A little surprise, I presume a squirrel gift as hazelnuts don’t usually find their way into bags of wood chips. But it found a tiny point of light and went for it. What a lovely find, and I will put it with my cherry and apple trees I’m trying to grow.

A lovely little orange tip stopped for pics today, the second one seen this week, which is exciting as they don’t often pass through here. Looks like the surprise black radish that made it through is flowering and appears to be what they like.
