Growing season has now had a good boost with the warm weather and sunshine. The buds and berries are coming along nicely.

Despite the changeable weather, the growing is coming along, with more berries ripening.

Summer berries are coming along.

Picked some elderberries while out walking and turned them into cordial (a few blackberries may have found their way in as well).

This one I decided should be a combo, and as such becomes Super Jam 😁 strawberry, raspberry, cherry and redcurrant.

A nice little haul of wild strawberries today, with a couple of blueberries and a domestic strawb. 😋

It’s starting to look summer, the 1st June has brought ripe strawberries to start the bounty from the garden. Only two so far, but hoping for little bits here and there, the wild strawberries should be soon as well 🍓

Its been quite a month in the garden, so many bugs, berries and insects, and more flowers bursting through.
The loganberries, gooseberries and redcurrants look like they will be plentiful. And there’s a handful of blueberries ready to pick and eat 😋 .
The wild strawberries are also ripening on a daily basis now and its super cool having to forage for them. Rummaging through the bushes for them!
They are very sweet and my dog like strawberries too so come running over for one when it’s rummage time.
Small little handfuls everyday, what a summer treat. Homegrown fruit from the garden.
