It’s something that
I do despise
People who can’t tell
Nowt but lies
What that breeds
Can be confusion
If in those lies
There is collusion
It can make one
Feel quite alone
Because of a truth
That isn’t known
Be aware of lies and bullshit

Rhyme and Reason
Topsy turvy
The world was thrown
Into disarray
And now has grown
To be so strange
It seems unreal
To even know
Just how to feel
When what was hidden
In your head
Is suddenly
Real life instead
It’s not quite what
I thought would be
It’s even worse
And all can see
The lies…

They ramp it up
From day to day
Ignore your sense
Believe what we say
The truth it seems
Does matter not
In this sinister
Heinous plot
But in your mind
Stay safe and strong
And remember that
You don’t belong
To them…

Rhyme and Reason
A future gone
That once there was
They stole it all
And just because
They want to own
Your heart and soul
And to obtain
Complete control
But can the people
Really rise
And see the truth
In all the lies
Use those thoughts
To really see
What they have planned
For you and me

There is so much
That’s out of place
More than a farce
A complete disgrace
Quickly writing
New regs and rules
While treating people
Like children and fools
Could such a thing
As sense prevail
When all appears
As rigged to fail

Rhyme and Reason
Once there is
A loss of hope
It can get strained
And hard to cope
These dark times
In which we find
Ourselves, and what
Thoughts are in mind
But I think of what
Is yet to pass
While all I see
Is a growing farce
I would like a bit of sensible.

You summoned us, the largest head said. “I did.” We are in debt. Your desire is our command. “I need someone to die.” Do you have what’s needed? He held his hand out, revealed a hairbrush. It burst into fire. It’s done. He walked up the stairs to his house…
Today is for pink and red flowers, photographs taken with a Nikon D5500.
