Fairy Tales

Some of you may remember reading fairy tales growing up, or watching them as movies once they were adapted for the screen. And you may even remember the details of the tale, and the moral (some people don’t retain those things, so even some who may have read or watched them aren’t always familiar). And not everyone gives extra thought to things, ideas, subjects and stories, they can just take things at face value only with no lingering afterthought or extra dissection of the message being conveyed. But some of us do.

Because although some of the settings may have been outrageous, or far-fetched, and the characters exaggerated or overdone, with the good and the evil being very easily distinguished from one another. They had a very real and often dark exposure of human nature running through them. Of greed and selfishness, weakness and moral corruption and more often than not, showing you one of the very worst parts of people and society. Loving parents being forced to abandon their kids, hateful parents not wanting them in the way, deals being struck for fortunes using children as payment, evil stepmothers hiring mercenaries to kill their competition, children being hypnotised and led to their doom, death, poverty and danger, and so on. Highlighting how the perils that a young person may face could be many, and if we were paying attention to those tales, it could come from any area of the adult world. Even from what was supposed to be your own loving kin in some cases.

But they appear to serve as warnings neatly wrapped in a palatable coating, where of course there is also heroism, bravery and courage as well as sometimes wit and skill, to come good in the end and save the day. The meaning given to them being “a story in which improbable events lead to a happy ending“. But even though there is a creepy and often malicious thread running through them, it seems that recently they have been tidied up for public consumption by the masses, once Disney got hold of them. Dumbed down with some of the most sinister themes removed, but not all. And it is said that the originals had such dark themes because they were in fact based on historical events, and weren’t just imagination and those extra pieces of fantasticalism were added to make them acceptable for children it would seem. Or, is it a way to hide those tales and warnings of old, to ‘friendly up’ something which has ulterior motives, just like in Pinocchio. Where you can do what you want, have as much fun as you want, don’t listen to your parents or warnings, until it’s too late and the real price of all that ‘freedom’ starts to hit home. Becoming part of a system that feeds off their naivety, ignorance and lack of experience. Lining the pockets of the fat cats running the show, making money from their energy, excitement and ultimately their misery. And of that strange tale, it’s interesting to me how the whole thread of it was about his desire to be something he wasn’t, to fit in and be what his parent wanted. Thus giving rise to the vulnerability that became his weakness that others could prey upon. Identity, reality and the motives of others being much very behind that story. Or maybe that’s just how I saw it.

There are many things throughout life to help to lead you astray, whether you believe they are placed there on purpose, or find their way to you, many are not always ready to accept their part in the transaction. But mostly you cannot go unwillingly, there is a choice that occurs about which road to take, or who to follow. In all of these tales, there are choices and decisions as well as consequences and outcomes, and while some would prefer to focus on the outcome, it means they may overlook what it was that led to it. Often preferring to believe they are bystanders to circumstance, rather than players in it and sometimes the engineers of it. I wonder what fairy tales we could write of these current times, to try and continue to convey a darkness of which the undertones have been felt for more than a few centuries, and continue to lurk among us. Or maybe that’s why we keep the old stories, to remind the next generation to be wary and watchful, because sometimes behind the bright colours and beyond the witches and unicorns, there is something real and dark watching and waiting…

The strangest tale… (poetry)

The strangest tale

A scourge on our time

Of demons and evils

A sinister crime

A darkness unveiling

That more can now feel

No longer it matters

What they say is real

Because with a knowing

Is an absence of fear

It’s more than belief

It’s a deep-felt idea

That in their quite twisted

And augmented dream

Where they cannot let go

Of this digital scheme

They’re caught in a loop

And cannot now stray

There’s too much at stake

And now is in play

It’s not as sewn up

As it maybe appeared

It’s gone rather rogue

And now really weird

With things being darker

Than some can admit

But others who’ve noticed

Will no longer sit

And allow this disaster

On our watch to unfold

And when the time comes

We need to be bold

~

In these strange times ahead

Competing For Top Spot

Initially this was going to just be an article about our history of being competitive for sport, money, status and prestige. That we hold competitions to judge people on their beauty, strength, agility and physique.

We have the Olympics, various sports, strong man comps, Miss World and universe, body building and weight lifting competitions, modelling of all kinds, awards ceremonies and so on. All to decide who is the best, brightest and most talented and beautiful, according to a panel of hand selected people.

But something has changed recently within those industries and public face of them, and one can’t help but notice, but I will go into that shortly. Firstly, I will talk about competition and the idea of being competitive in the social arena, from my view and how I have perceived it growing up from a girl into a woman, and the expectations and limitations that surrounded it. For starters, it really isn’t a myth that men are afforded more opportunities than women, in most settings, although there will always be an exception to the rule. But you won’t get paid the same usually, you won’t get the same promotions, and you won’t get the same respect. Mostly those things are obvious as you go through life experiencing it first-hand, despite what some people may say. Overlooked because you ‘might breed’ or distract the other workers, or because you might ‘get emotional’ (not because you actually do any of those things, but because you might, and you just have to suck it up). Told what you can and can’t wear, as it will ‘encourage men’, or regardless of what you wear, someone will still find something to be wrong with it. Your makeup and how you present yourself will be judged and scrutinized, by teachers, parents, employers, friends etc. You know you’ll always be second rate, and yet will still have to work harder, do more and push yourself to compete in a world that you will never be seen as good enough in by those that set the standard. Because you aren’t them, and never can be – and they know it. So, the best you can do, is to be good enough to yourself and for yourself, and realise that society ‘deciding your worth’ does not make it so, that’s part of the whole illusion so they can rate you and put us all into their little systems and categories. But it is a system that is quite well set, or at least was until the last few years when something odd seems to be occurring.

Now, after years of being told what and where our place was and goalposts being quite defined, and fighting for a basic acceptance of at least to be viewed and treated equally as a human, and to have opportunity to do so, a rather strange curve ball has hit the scene. Or curve balls, should I say.

Large corporations have chosen to employ a man to act as a woman in commercials, adverts and quite a large online campaign. He is portraying the most exaggerated, overdone version of what I presume they view to be a woman and ‘feminine qualities’, which is quite painful to behold and watch someone put on the most cringy display while overacting a part. Covered slightly in my article The clothes do not maketh the man, but it’s getting even weirder out there now. He is being used to represent multiple women’s products and being highlighted and put forward as the face of their campaigns – just one person, not even a few, or even someone who has genuinely transitioned and is trying their best to be and live as a women, no. Men are being allowed to compete in sporting competitions, just by saying they feel like a woman, or going into schools because they can say they identify as a child. And the prison debacle, well, that speaks for itself really but is another dangerous step towards dismissing women, their concerns, rights, ideals and future. Does that work in the payroll department I wonder? That man gets paid more than me, I feel like a man today so want to be paid the same now, so up my wages please or that is discrimination. It’s A Slippery Slope we are on with a bit of a void at the bottom, as there doesn’t appear any logical purpose for any of it, other than to obliterate everyone rights, but one small piece at a time. They know most men won’t care about women’s or children’s rights on the whole, as it doesn’t affect them much as women aren’t just walking into their bathrooms, or winning strength based sports, or flashing their bits to children, or taking their awards or jobs. It will be a different approach for theirs, and I guess we’ll have to watch this space for what that is.

Along the way, I have heard and seen that men are more competitive than women, although they will compete with each other, and do have a drive to succeed, it is not geared up in the same way as men it would seem or towards the same things. Men are (or at least were) much more bullish, demanding and aggressive it is said (again always exceptions to the rule), but that does seem to have been accepted for a long time and ones with that type of drive went into competitive areas, whether it be sport, industry or academia etc. There is also a good reason we have kept women and men separate to a point in certain areas too, and it isn’t because we weren’t being progressive, it was because we were being practical and a little thoughtful. Would you expect a young or teenage boy and girl to share a bathroom at home at the same time? Or a man and teenage girl, would you expect them to shower at the same time in the same facilities, related or not? No? Things are kept separate often for many reasons, privacy, decency and respect I thought – for yourself and others. And those are the things being chucked to one side for one large group, so another small group can ‘feel included’. But that inclusion has a price tag it would seem, and that price is the exclusion of how everyone else feels, especially girls and women. And that’s the strange thing, we haven’t had to compete in these arenas before in recent generations as much, we campaigned for acceptance, for jobs, for safety, for inclusion – and got those things as much as we could. And now we are having to compete to not have them usurped, by imposters parading in the public eye for purpose. The ones who are being pushed as the face of the agenda are part of a bigger picture, encouraging other to follow like children entranced by the pied piper, leading them astray. Everybody is being caught up in this strange shift in society, where they would like you to think they are there to help, and only want what’s best for you, not in a best friend kind of way though, more like a Kathy Bates in Misery kind of way.

And of those competitions I mentioned above – “various sports, strong man comps, Miss World and universe, body building and weight lifting competitons, modelling of all kinds, awards ceremonies and so on” – it seems that they have been the podium for this ‘new one world order’ they want us to believe is the future. To try and blur the lines between there being two, because you can’t have one, if there is two now, can you? Personally, I don’t believe they care one jot about if someone feels they were born in the wrong body, or does not feel like who they should be, or they would address the rather odd and strict parameters, conditions and substances of society that feed into that. Instead, they view that type of confusion and wondering as a vulnerability to be exploited and a potential weapon for their cause at the time. But as I have previously stated, each section of society will be used when needed, and cast aside when the next fad rolls out to move closer to the goal of breaking down identities, personal boundaries, networks and stability. Making it seems so desperately chaotic and fractured that the only answer will be the ‘The One’. Remember how they have that running as a theme through many a dramatic and heroic movie, where only ‘The One’ can save humanity? Where only by uniting as one can people be saved. My article Prepped for disaster, or clever programming? goes into that idea and maybe my piece There was always going to be two, about society being separated and not becoming one as they would like. But this is something else happening under our feet, behind our backs and in front of our faces, a change where not all is as it seems…

Alone online: Seen but not heard. — Aunty Social World

Social media is a minefield for those of us with disabilities and mental health struggles. We’ve all had moments where we see someone else tweeting about their struggles, it resonates and so we then do the same. Only we don’t get treated the same. This blog post is for anyone who has ever been silenced or felt ignored for speaking openly about their mental health online.

April New Year, Don’t Be Fooled

It seems that the potential origin of April fools and how it came about is tied to calendars. And the changing of them in fact, as one might a guard, but this was apparently around the time of the change from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian one we use now. Where they changed new year to be from 25th March, to the 1st of January. It is said that European towns would have a holiday thereafter, with the new year starting on the 1st April. And after that time of change, it seems it may have become a thing to ridicule people who did not want to, or would not adopt ‘the new way’.

But that’s OK, because they seemed to use that good old tool of humiliation and public mockery, all in jest of course. But to make a fool of people who remained on the old system, gradually making everyone conform to a time. And it’s a ‘tradition’ that we still have today, but I hadn’t really given it thought over the years, instead just blindly following society with pre-set dates you must adhere to, but under the guise of ‘fun and celebration’ and for various reasons. But really they all now seem part of either a conditioning project, or a commercial enterprise, which in itself has always been a conditioning project to make us buy things. But there is very little gimmick attached to April Fools, no real merchandise I’m aware of other than some jokey things, and it’s only half a day, so not much is really put into it. Yet it remains, to laugh at the easily fooled, the gullible and naive. Or is it still there as a reminder, to not go against the grain for fear of humiliation, that for hundreds of years it could be immortalised as a ‘tradition’. And to bring out the slightly mean-spirited people who like to poke fun at, or make fun of others, to give them free reign with no recourse? Perhaps.

But it must have been quite a destabilising thing to do. When we are led to believe that not everyone was even running on the same time in neighbouring towns, but time, days and times of year get shifted. Almost a bigger version perhaps of them messing with the clocks twice a year. And lots of the world doesn’t, so you realise even today, with all our synchronised clocks and technology, many are running on different time. As people do personally as well to a shared clock. But some countries even run on a different year altogether, in Nepal for example its the year 2080 on their Nepali Patro calendar.

There are 5 countries in all that haven’t taken on the Gregorian calendar it seems, Afghanistan and Iran, use the Solar Hijri calendar and its the year 1368. Ethiopia and Eritrea use the Ethiopian calendar in which it is 7 years behind, so they are technically in 2015. And Nepal as above. Strange isn’t it, that although taking part in shared calendar, still keeping your own time. I like it. And time is a very strange thing how they’ve divided it all up around the world as well as our days into time zones, sometime changing a number of times across one landmass or country. It’s mad really, flying or travelling into tomorrow, or yesterday, and by way of jetlag we deal with it although that is a strange feeling, as is the concept. We all just accept it though for what it is, and through what we are taught or learn, but I can’t help thinking it’s not quite as it seems…

Little trees 🌳

They are coming along. Season three for one of my cherries, and second season for what I think are more cherries and a plum tree. And first season for an apple tree.

I also saved an elderberry sprout which has established this year and looks healthy despite being overrun with aphids last year (as was the cherry). Those little ants really get on it with farming them, but despite looking weary at the end of last year, they’ve come back strong so far. It’s looking quite fruity in the garden too with the redcurrent, blueberry, gooseberry, loganberry and strawberry, although I misplaced the logan berry and it’s been overtaken by the buddleia. Maybe the little branch I planted last year will come through. We’ll see…

What Are We Worth?

A healthy person just going about their lives appears to make very little money for ‘the corporation’ as it goes. It would appear that the vast amounts of money they make from us is carefully engineered to be that way, by means of shopping and Consumerism, food and pharmaceuticals, addictions and interests. Employment, education, finance and healthcare. Those four are where they ended up getting us all in place, captured by one arm if we happened to escape another.

People having turmoil or confusion in their lives, helps any one of those things take hold. So just like the ’emergency’ that was created to usher in a new way, so it was before this. They ushered in categories and standards, to measure and test everyone by, to then decide if you were productive in their scheme of industry. And by productive, i don’t just mean ‘a good worker’ or someone that pays their taxes and contributes. I used to think that’s what it meant. But now I realise they have used so many sections of society for so long, we all get used for purpose when needed. And if we start to group, or notice the play, they shake things up and destabilise the foundations of society, or at least for that group who is becoming a problem to them.

Black Wall Street was a power move I believe for this type of thing, a community getting their shit together and growing, looking as if they could compete. Oh look, taken down in a terrible display of power. Anyone who tried to better things, either for their own community or a wider focus, gets taken out. Either by way of elimination, being discredited or publicaly destroyed, and sometimes just by way of threats, or possibly an offer of joining the juggernaut that seeks to dominate. Some will have a price I’m sure they can be bought for.

If you weren’t already aware though, the business model being put forward for the future, where we are the end user, is pharmaceuticals. An industry that has grown to be worth an eye watering amount of money, but is wholly dependent on you and me, and everyone else being pumped full of chemicals that they decide we need to have. To make them more money, and to keep people on a hook, dangling and waiting for their next hit. A temporary illness and problem doesn’t give them any stability or overall control, it’s a small amount of your life they get to be involved in. Unless, of course, they could find a way to make sure you got sick and unwell, to guarantee they would have a customer base and continued market. And then, if they could find an extra way to make sure you required all those drugs and prescriptions on a daily basis, just to have a ‘normal life’, well, that would be the holy grail for them surely?

Because in that long term state of illness and slow decline, they have built another industry to ‘look after you’ within that, which unfortunately now seems to be just a cover for a rather slick harvesting program. Of your life, time, assets and health, and they then get to have your body parts after if they so chose to keep experimenting on you after death and using that for other purposes. It’s truly horrific what goes on within that whole set up, and now we realise, in the outer reaches of it too. Hospitals, care homes, orphanages and social care, schools, charities and other methods to get people. And yes, this may sound paranoid On the face of it but with everything that is going on I will go with the idea that it is not whether you are paranoid, but whether you are paranoid enough. But to have ultimate control, they go through the children, and always have. And why they were probably always so against the gypsy folk in this country, who seemed to have no need of being ‘in the system’, and now I can see why. It starts with the birth certificate, to get your children registered, and of course the census, another crafty way to update the doomsday database.

But once you have the birth registered, how do you get to keep tabs on that family and child? A system of school and education, which is then offered free, and deemed necessary for society to attend. Laws created to make it so, punishable by fines and even prison for breaking them. Then they offered free money to people, just for having them, you know to help with the upkeep and maintenance costs (of which they get to decide). Child benefit then meant nearly all births would be registered as people thought the government was ‘just trying to help’. But when you realise they engineered most of the conditions people found themselves in, by way of dodgy landlords and landowners, making sure they bought all the land, owned all the houses and kept people in poverty – sound familiar? Then they swoop in and make it look like they want to help, by introducing lots of laws and regulations, to sort out the housing and the nutrition and the health of the more unfortunate in society. I could be talking about now, but I am not. I’m talking about Victorian England, literally same shit, different day. And has been said before, the only difference between now and then is we don’t wear top hats anymore.

Yet you can see how easy it is for the people pulling the strings, to always make sure the board tips in their favour. People are easy to fool it would appear, with very little thought going into the motive and intention of someone or something. But people are their cash cow and without people to tie into these systems, they don’t exist and can’t function or create the endless steams of money they require to dominate the commercial world. That’s why they don’t like small holdings, or family units, or communities, as they pose a small, but potential threat to the machine that requires something to feed off. They need energy and attention, as well as your physical allegiance, so will try any and all methods to make that so, by way of technology, laws, restrictions, ideals and propaganda. And as adults, we must accept that we have been through that system ourselves and been labelled, categorised, numbered and processed through their ‘society’, so they can medicate us, educate us and then harvest us – whether that be organs, time, data, assets, taxes or whatever else we are deemed good for in their human ant farm.

And each successive generation that breeds, and registers its offspring, is continuing to feed the machine, with a new tighter regimented structure than before. Of digital registration, implants and monitoring, to make sure you don’t go astray, or have other ideas outside of their ‘vision’ for your life. While they claim to embrace individualism, they seek to eliminate it but use it as a weapon or shield when needed to further their cause, but like everyone else along the way, their cause or thoughts mean nothing to them and are a convenient tool who will be Thrown Under The Bus when it has run its course.
