A World Within A World

Currently we are led to believe that ‘they’ are trying to herd us into confined areas and ‘smart cities’. Designed to keep us controlled within a controlled environment, taxing us per breath and movement in the not-so-distant future. Being an obsessive and stalky parent type jailor, but with a vampirish overtone, constantly wanting you to volunteer and comply of your own accord. Handing yourself and your bloodline over for sacrifice. Leading to there then being separate worlds within the world, which to a point we already have. Certain countries not entirely open to the whole world, countries that had previously been shut off or restricted as we are told. And there is even speculation if you follow the crater earth / bigger earth theory, that there is more land than we have been told about, so could be countless other ‘countries’ or lands. Operating alongside us to a certain degree, but just as unaware as we are. And if you think out a bit further, it could easily be speculated that if we are in a contained environment as with the firmament idea or as a globe in a larger universe, then we are just a world within a world anyway.

And as an extra layer, we are often said to have our own world’s going on in our heads as well, again being a world within a world, but a separated and detached one from outside. So far, your thoughts and ideas and processes in mind are hidden from external view, and still seem to be quite the mystery, yet we function adequately. Perhaps we are also disconnected from something else too, something external to us and where we are. I sometimes give thought to what Oppenheimer said about being the destroyer of worlds, as many have, wondering what was truly meant by it. And what world was destroyed if any, ours? Another world? Or perhaps it was a connection to something that was broken, leading us down a dark path. Although, it is entirely possible we were always on that dark path and have been prone to what we call the ‘human condition’ for the longest time.

There is another idea though, I guess I touched upon in The Bit In Between and Cities in the Sky. Of the idea that there are different levels, or realms perhaps above and below us, that we are between worlds of sorts. Maybe that’s why we have stories of purgatory, feeling as though we are trapped between the living and dead somewhat, and maybe we are. The ‘dead’ underneath us, and a different level of ‘alive’ above, perhaps. The Underworld and Heaven becoming the mythological fantasy versions of them, but maybe they started as other stories of wonderous cities in the sky, and terrifying caverns down below. Each with their own lifeforms and histories, just as we have in ours. Yet somewhere along the line, they became intermingled, possibly a catastrophe engulfed or affected all three and the ‘borders’ became somewhat blurred for a time, or things that were never meant to be seen became visible. Giving rise to new theories, ideas and speculations, just as we have these days. Or of course, it could just be that we as humans are merely at the mercy of our imaginations and our ability for deception, both towards other people and ourselves, makes it easy for our minds to find their way to mischief. But you never know, it may be within madness and mischief we find the answer, so I believe I shall keep looking…

Snapshot

Immortalised by way of a photograph, or recording to look back on. A snapshot in time that can be kept as it is, in stasis and forever as it was. I wonder how many have been haunted by their past self, even just in memory and not in a physical recreation, as we are led to believe, aging is a cross to bear. Many tales and stories are about chasing youth, or trying to evade what we are told is a natural process, while at the same time as being told it is a disease. So curable? Or inescapable? For a darker look at the fictional ideas we have surrounding immortals, my article More like us than we would like cover that.

Many are now being subjected to it on a strange and ongoing basis though, being forced to see your past image, or events by way of technology. Moments and memories captured in time, which seemed like a good idea at first, sort of. But when they get uploaded to the internet and can be copied, reproduced, shared, stored, bought up at any time, I realised it might do something else other than just invoke a pleasant memory. because as time went on, things change, people grow up, move on or pass away, as do our pets. If you chose one day to ‘take a trip down memory lane’ and look through photos or remember things, that seems fairly normal to me and part of either accepting change, or indulging nostalgia. Which in itself can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on where it takes your feelings. Many will know you may intend to just have a little think about something that was good, but it can turn itself into a sad thought out of nowhere, or meander into another and take a new tangent. So, with electronic reminders all the time, and the ability to skim back through what perhaps should be left behind, does this contribute to people getting stuck? Maybe with not being able to process change mentally and move on, because there is now a more physical way to sort of keep it ‘alive’ despite the reality of it not being there anymore? If that makes sense.

And I also wonder if having repeated exposure to memories and events is a good thing too. In the media world people are mostly agreed it is for programming and propaganda, to manipulate people’s views and ideals, to sway political outcomes and wants. But for the average person, what affect is it having on them to have their own life often replayed to them, by them and others. The ones who have grown up in the world of being able to record every moment, and now create your own TV shows with them. Even before the recent news stories of popular social media influencers seriously affecting and abusing their children, I had suspected that many who don’t even realise they are being affected will notice it down the line. The ones who are directly involved, and the ones watching and taking the advice of these ‘influencers’, whether they are what appears to be average people, or celebrities, it allows something crafted and scripted into your life, and often really isn’t what it seems. The drive for attention, views, likes and constant validation does appear to be a sickness once you are taken by it, and people will use whatever means necessary to get it thereafter. Vanity and ego I believe plays a starring role there, becoming so consumed by what you think you are, and then self-perception props it up for however long it is allowed to run its course. And technology is just an easy way to facilitate something that we already knew was a weakness for some, and for others a distraction or lure. Makes me think of that mirror of Erised in the HP series, where it showed you your greatest desire and people wasted their lives looking into the mirror…

Flipped

Normal problems are being labelled as mental illness when what appears to be real mental illness is being heralded as ‘normal’. It’s causing quite a stir as you would imagine. The lunatics are running the asylum as the saying goes, but quite literally in this case. And this is where you might feel a bit like Alice did, falling into a topsy turvy world where up is down, backwards is forwards and left is right, nothing making sense while at the same time making perfect sense. It could also be likened to the character of Sarah in the Labyrinth, with twists and turns, a strange deadline and demonic distractions leading you into someone else’s odd perverted game.

Where reality as you knew it, gets flipped and turned on its head and what isn’t becomes what is, and what is becomes what was. And really is a bit more than just having the rug pulled out from under you, it’s actually like having the whole damn floor removed and everything underfoot. With the added concern that anywhere you then go to place your feet, is whipped away as quick as you can settle, as is meant to happen. Being grounded and rooted is not on the cards for the future it would seem. Trying to dislodge and disconnect reason, logic, nostalgia and familiarity in all its forms, and replace it with a loopy and sinister ever changing and interrupted existence. I don’t know about you, but so far, it’s looking more haphazard than anything we have ever witnessed, with a streamlined digital society seeming more far off now than it ever has. Which is odd in a way, because before the ‘pandemic’ was rolled out, it looked as though it would have been far easier to get everyone on digital if they had really wanted that. Systems were slowly being tied in, they could have gradually implemented it for travel, money, education and lastly for health.

But it would seem to me, and many others, that it was never about digital, or I.D on their own, there was something else they wanted. Which is why I can fully understand why people may think something was in the jab, the insistence on everyone having it, the systems they then wanted for it, the possible Bluetooth ID’s of people etc. And even now, when it should be a slam dunk that it has been an economically and medically catastrophic decision which has caused untold harm and misery on millions of people. But it seems the wheels of corruption move on at pace, continuing the destruction and treachery, for their 30 pieces of silver one must presume. Because when it all goes to shit, the people who helped to pave the way, will have been promised something surely, to make them be the good little middle men and women, believing they are safe, and like the special pets of the ringmaster. Why else would someone saw off the branch when they are standing on it? It may well be that the numbers are so gradual for losses, and with all the people replacements happening, there will be no ‘moment people realise’. Statistics and data are now so corrupted and people have been so saturated with them, they probably don’t represent the real picture anyway. You won’t see them disappear; they will just be someone else. Like in Dark City when they inject new memories and personalities into people, just a seamless changeover of lives to carry on with a new task and purpose.

Just as the population grew, infrastructure was needed and people to maintain it. If they want to eliminate this phase of the experiment, or let it run through to what many suspect is the goal and conclusion, there won’t be the need for such an elaborate infrastructure. And it makes me wonder if that is what happened before, when we find what we say are old abandoned cities, or civilisations. Speculating on what is left behind, not quite realising that they too, may have been instructed to ‘dig their own graves’ too and destroy everything around them. I think of Dark City again here, as part of the opener of the film was about the fact that they made the doctor destroy his own memories, so they could use him as a doctor, but so that he would not be a threat with any knowledge of the past. And they do say, knowledge is power, and seems to be so very important in the play unfolding currently, what was, what is, and what shall come to pass…
