We can pretend
That those who run it
Want this to end
I’ve never known
Such a show of shit
There are too many
Who benefit
From keeping things
Just as they are
Telling blatant lies
It’s just bizarre
And stranger still
One can’t deny
How so many folks
Did blindly comply
They followed the hype
And bought the tale
But all we’ve seen
Is an epic fail
Based on fiction
Our lives they stole
Just so they’ll have
Complete control
