I have a piece of coral that my grandparents used to have in their house when I was growing up. It fascinated me and was delighted when they gave it to me. Funny to think this coral has been in my family longer than I have! This week it has stepped up as a great photography subject. It’s highly likely I will be posting more coral shots.

Managed to get some pretty cool effects going on with oil drops, this time trying something different with lighting and angles. There may be more to come, I have been busy…

A rather furry and bright plant with a great texture.

Strange colours and clouds to start the day.

My previous garden (by about 4), had a small well established pond and beautiful mature garden bringing in so much wildlife it was amazing to me. During the spring damselflies were appearing everyday as well as dragonflies. It took me a few days to realise they were emerging from the pond! I’ll do another post of one I caught in the act – quite a sight I must say. This one stopped for a mini photo shoot.

My orchid, despite the previous odds of orchid survival under my care – has made it 😁 And came back to bloom this year. But upon the first bud opening, little ghost orchid looks really sad 😕👻 and the second one angry 😬

This is a special lenticular cloud for me as it appeared while we were on our honeymoon! Have to say I was very impressed.
