This one turned out a bit different. All I knew is I wanted to try and have a moon. No metallics used on this one which was hard, I really am tempted with all of them to just add a bit of shimmer. But it didn’t need it after all.

I enjoyed doing a seascape with jellyfish, so wanted to do a bigger piece. I feel an underwater theme starting to emerge. With a bit of sparkle of course.

I am still trying to get onto the page what I intend to, and feeling half way through that it’s all gone wrong is a regular occurrence. In the end though, I’m usually quite pleased or just consider it a test piece 😉

It wasn’t meant to be this simple, I usually over complicate things and don’t know when to put the brush down. I may just be getting the hang of it.

I thought I would switch from the sky to the ocean, it started with the idea of a jellyfish…

I wanted to try the silhouetted tree and graveyard scene with different colours – pinky purple went quite well 🙂

I’m completely in love with the metallic watercolours. But trying to find a way to get the best out of them takes time and colour…

Blue and gold

Pink/Purple and gold

Green and Gold
I would like to say I have a favourite, but I like them all!

Trying out different colour skies for silhouettes. Not just for trees it seems.

Trees and colour are my favourite, it’s nice experimenting with different techniques. I have a habit of over doing it, so I love the simplicity of this one.

This one I originally intended to have more in it, but once the sky and golden field were completed, I had to stop. I really like it as it is.
