It’s very strange… (poetry)

It’s very strange

Where we are

What has rolled out

It’s gone too far

Manipulated

We all have been

The lies they’ve told

Are just obscene

But here we are

Now in this mess

Surrounded by weird

And untold stress

Fingers crossed

We find a path

And minimise

The aftermath

What came before… (poetry)

What came before

Is now the past

Something new

Is unfolding fast

Keeping up

As best I can

So many twists

Since it all began

Shutting down

Your liberty

Believe what we say

Not what you see

Think for yourself

While you still can

And question what

May seem like a plan

It isn’t just… (poetry)

It isn’t just

That we can see

A brewing pot

Of calamity

A foreboding

That seems to loom

Setting the tone

Of impending doom

Destabilise

And then control

Just little at first

And then the whole

To monitor

Decide and say

These are the rules

Now all obey

It wasn’t long… (poetry)

It wasn’t long

Before we knew

That what they said

Just wasn’t true

As if we all

Wouldn’t see

This tainted new

Reality

But now it’s here

You can’t deny

A brave new world

Of obey and comply

Fear and control

Are handy tools

But only work

If the people are fools

I can’t but help… (poetry)

I can’t but help

To be concerned

With this new norm

Of being interned

But really what

Does cause distress

Within this growing

Debacle & mess

Is just how many

Want to deny

The bigger picture

Instead comply

Not questioning

What seems so plain

From all this fear

Who stands to gain

Can we accept… (poetry)

Can we accept

This weird new norm

Feels like more

Of a coming storm

From the start

The advice was bent

And after the lies

Their true intent

Money and power

You can be sure

First the curve

And now the cure

Look at the picture

Not part but whole

They own the world

And took control
