Starling flock in slow motion
When we first had proper snow in January, I decided to go out in the morning and try and get some slowmo footage of the large snowflakes. As I positioned my phone upwards and hit record, a flock of starlings flew over perfectly in frame! Felt very lucky to capture that, I must admit 🙂

Waiting for the Bucket to Drop — Writing Scared
One of the first adult horror novels I remember reading was Carrie by Stephen King. My dad had a copy (which I still have), and we watched the movie together too, though I don’t recall if I read or watched it first. I was probably around 11 or 12 at the time, which some people […]

It feels that it… (poetry)
It feels that it
Is getting more tense
As growing numbers
Seem to see sense
While it appears
We still have choice
You really should
Employ your voice
What’s going on
One can’t define
But all I can say
Is hold the line
There are those
Who admit defeat
They now step back
And will retreat
Because there’s more
To this sinister fight
It’s about our futures
And what is right
With propaganda
We’ve been saturated
And through big lies
Manipulated
But to what end?
Rhyme and Reason
