Painting – Coral Reef

My underwater theme has moved onto coral reefs, although it’s harder than I thought (I didn’t think it would easy), it was very satisfying to paint this. I couldn’t hold back with the metallics though, as you can tell. Even though it is cluttered, reefs seem to be sometimes so in my head it works.

Just when you thought… (poetry)

Just when you thought

It couldn’t get worse

With more yet to come

It seems so perverse

Like clash of the titans

They’re pulling the strings

We’re tied in like puppets

Played with like things

However you swing it

We should realise

The conditions are set

To dehumanize

That which we are

And what came before

Making existence

Somewhat of a chore

Without any joy

A darkness draws near

And one they allow

Through persistent of fear

~

Try and look through the facade

I’m not sure how long… (poetry)

I’m not sure how long

We can pretend

That those who run it

Want this to end

I’ve never known

Such a show of shit

There are too many

Who benefit

From keeping things

Just as they are

Telling blatant lies

It’s just bizarre

And stranger still

One can’t deny

How so many folks

Did blindly comply

They followed the hype

And bought the tale

But all we’ve seen

Is an epic fail

Based on fiction

Our lives they stole

Just so they’ll have

Complete control

Frightening isn’t it?

Spectacular Lenticular

Clouds have always taken my attention. From lying on your back as a kid in the summer and staring at the big white clouds drift by against a blue sky.

Over the last few years I’ve seen some rather spectacular clouds of the lenticular variety. Mostly in Spain but some here in the UK as well. But so far this is one the most epic ones, reminding me of a spaceship or vortex.

I have also animated this photo 🙂 you can find this and many more animated skies (and a few of my dog), on my YouTube channel.

MKW Designs – Space Range

I had a brief phase of using some of my photography with a space overlay app, I quite liked some of the results. Used my moon pictures taken with Celestron telescope and used a few oil drop and a water droplet pictures as they had a spacey feel to them to me.
