More than time… (poetry)

More than time

Is what they take

To have a new

The old must break

Wearing down

What once there was

Replacing thoughts

In mind because

That’s the way

We’ll all forget

The world before

And better yet

Accept as normal

What now seems new

But planned for us

By the darkest few

We watch the world… (poetry)

We watch the world

It seems quite feral

Descending fast

And laced with peril

Looking for logic

In all the madness

Brings a darkness

Tinged with sadness

As corruption draws

It’s armies near

Do not despair

And live by fear

There should be hope

That we might find

A deeper good

And peace in mind

But we must be looking…

Shame on them… (poetry)

Shame on them

The ones who are

Just not normal

So very far

From what we need

To see and be

They just don’t like

Our unity

It holds a threat

We just can’t hide

Their plan of conquer

And divide

Is clearly plain

And seems so set

But still I think

There may be yet

Time…

clock

Angle Shade Moth

There was a rather lovely Angle Shade moth in the garden this morning, just trying to get some sun on the steps. Luckily I managed to save it from my dog – which really is the only reason I spotted it, but definitely saved it from the playful inquisitive hungry nature of a one year old Labrador. I always feel lucky to be surrounded by nature, but when something this special starts the day I feel extra lucky. Now the warm weather has started there shall be lots more wildlife in the garden to come hopefully…

Filling heads… (poetry)

Filling heads

With so much crap

They’re overflowing

And ready to snap

But faster now

The need is more

To capture minds

And what it’s for

Liberty

Is what they stole

Leading to

Complete control

Reporting what

They say has been

To program you

With just a screen

When a life… (poetry)

When a life

Is all but spent

Should one reflect

Perhaps repent

Or are the things

We’ve done and said

Unchangeable

So find instead

That we accept

It’s just the way

That life played out

And day by day

Resign ourselves

To not being late

For time it follows

That is our fate
